Scomparsi in Ucraina

German Barinov, an Estonian national with a background in the Estonian Armed Forces, police, and Kaitseliit, joined the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine on March 26, 2022, to fight against Russian forces. He served as a platoon commander in the Kiev and Kharkiv regions and was injured near Kharkov in summer 2022 when his vehicle hit a mine.
